PB: Megan Mullally Name: Karen Delaney St. Croix Popeil Walker Finster. Karen Walker Nicknames: Kare, Miss Karen, Kare Bear, Kiki (mother only) Aliases: Anastasia Beaverhausen, Pilar Palabundo, Shu Shu Fontana (drag) Age: 47? Birthday assumed to be January 12, 1959
Powers: Karen has no powers per se. She just has no soul.
Handicaps: Everything about Karen is pretty much a handicap. She doesn't understand poverty or poor people, the meaning or value of money, where she is most of the time, and occasionally doesn't even know what's currently going on around her. Drugs and alcohol play a big part in her life, which may or may not actually be a handicap, considering she's nearly always drunk, and nobody can ever tell.
Technology is also a very big handicap for Karen. She can barely answer a phone on her own, and she definitely can't use a computer or even a fax.
General Appearance: Karen is of average height and weight, and very busty. Her bra size is 34C. She has flawless skin (possibly due to plastic surgery), and correct posture. Her hair is dark brown, and her eyes match. She may or may not have paid good money for that.
Other physical quirks: Karen's hair is not always her hair. It's always real hair, however.
Special abilities: Drinking. Karen can out drink anybody on the planet. Being evil. Belittling people. Spending money. Traveling with a martini and never spilling a drop.
Relatives: Mason "The fat one" and Olivia "The Girl" Walker (Stepchildren), Lois Whitley (Mother), Sylvia Walker (Mother In-Law), Kimmie Walker (sister in-law), Ginny Whitley (sister), Jonny Walker (brother in-law), Lyle Finster (Ex-husband), Stanley Walker (ex-husband), Dick Popeil (ex-husband), Mr. St. Croix (ex-husband)
Rivals: Beverly Leslie, Lorraine Finster, Candice Bergan, Marlo Thomas, Scott Woolley, Candace Pruitt Occupation: Personal assistant to Grace Adler for boredom's sake, head of Walker Inc.
Education: Unknown. Presumed college, as she often speaks of attending one.
Tell us something we don't know: Karen secretly enjoys tacos. All Mexican food, really, but especially tacos. It is the only time she can be seen actually injesting anything that isn't pills or alcohol.
History: Not a whole lot is known about Karen's past, as she doesn't particularly like to speak about it - and she can't always remember all of it. But it is known that it was rough because her mother often incorperated her into money making and grifting schemes.
She may or may not have gone to Sarah Lawrence, and may or may not have had an illicit affair with Ronald Regan (among others). And she may or may not be responsible for the death of Sunny von Bülow.
Karen met Stanley in the 80s, but didn't actually get together with him until ten years after they met. Due to various marriages. She has no actual sexual attraction to him, but does honestly love him - and not just because of his money, though that helps.
She entered the lives of Will, Grace and Jack McFarland by way of becoming a personal assistant to Grace out of sheer boredom. Over the years she's grown close to Jack, and her hatred for Will has even blossomed into friendship. Her relationship with Grace remains obscure at best, occasionally slipping into lesbianism, and Grace holds her place as Karen's favorite person to mock in their small group.
Stan was arrested and sent to jail, and after a time, Karen started divorce proceedings. They were never finished and she became the head of Walker Inc when he died. It was revealed a year later that he'd faked his death, and eventually Karen did divorce him.
Personality: Karen looks down and mocks almost everybody that she meets. This is especially obvious when it comes to the people in her employ, to whom she will refer as their occupation instead of their names. Occasionally, she accidentally reveals that she has human emotions to the people closest to her, but often recovers it by doing something horrible to somebody else to make herself feel better. She's generally cruel and condescending, and observes life from an emotionless point of view, often telling others what she thinks (even about them) with no care to how they might feel. |
